Eden is one of the most dedicated healthcare providers I have ever met. The area where I’ve worked with her directly is on her teachings for healthcare providers and lawyers on trauma informed care/practices. This is an area that so many people need further education on and Eden is leading the field, taking the initiative to create her own comprehensive, engaging and educational trainings. It’s so important for healthcare providers and lawyers working with those with brain injuries to come at their services from a trauma informed lens, and Eden is singlehandedly spreading that knowledge, which has a broad impact in this space. She is very deserving of this recognition.

  • Lisa Freeman says:

I am pleased to offer my wholehearted support for Eden’s nomination for Health Care Provider of the Year. As a lawyer who represents professionals undergoing investigation or disciplinary proceedings by their regulatory bodies, I have had the privilege of working with Eden on numerous cases.

Eden is an exceptional social worker whose dedication, compassion, and skill have made a profound difference in the lives of many of my clients. She has a unique ability to establish rapport quickly, build trust, and create a safe, non-judgmental space in which clients feel supported and challenged to reflect meaningfully on their past conduct.

Eden has also prepared detailed and thoughtful reports that I have relied upon to persuade various stakeholders—investigators, prosecutors, and panels—of the mitigating factors present in my clients’ matters. Her ability to present her observations in a clear, balanced, and professional manner adds significant value to the regulatory process and helps decision-makers see the full human context of each case.

This deep work not only helps clients navigate the regulatory process with greater insight and accountability, but also fosters personal growth that extends well beyond the professional realm. Many clients have shared with me that their work with Eden has positively impacted all areas of their lives, including their closest relationships.

In addition to her clinical strengths, Eden is consistently knowledgeable, responsive, and collaborative. Her professionalism and commitment to ethical, client-centered care have made her an invaluable partner in supporting our mutual clients.

Eden’s contributions to the field are truly outstanding, and I believe she is richly deserving of this recognition.

Congratulations Eden on this wonderful deserving nomination!!!
There’s an old saying that goes “When LIFE gives you LEMONS make LEMONADE”. That’s easier said than done because real LEMONS are truly bitter. LIFE did give me lemons, it also gave me the whole entire lemon tree, actually 8 lemons trees! So how do I make lemonade out of hundreds of lemons “grief” Life did give me lemons and life also gave me EDEN. I had the lemons and Eden had the tools “recipe.” She used all her tools and I gave her all my lemons “grief”. And together we added (water “tears”), (sugar “love”), and (ice “fear”) and we reframed those sour lemons into a sweet and refreshing summer beverage LEMONADE!!! Eden with your guidance, I was able to find sweetness on the other side of Grief. Eden you showed me how to make lemonade by reflecting on my loss and understanding the emotions that come with it. Eden you helped me reframe the grief of losing my husband into a journey of growth, joy and purpose. Eden I am eternally grateful for all your guidance, your words of wisdom will forever and always be a blessing!
    “We Rise By Lifting Others”
Eden you are forever and always the “E” on my lemon
