Joy is a compassionate and knowledgeable catastrophic injury specialist with over 30 years experience as a rehabilitation case manager. She has expertise in working with individuals with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and other complex injuries. Joy has established a strong network of healthcare providers and community resources in Southeastern Ontario. She works closely with hospital staff to develop appropriate discharge plans to facilitate client’s transition from the in-patient setting to community for rehabilitation. She ensures that Rehabilitation Services and Supports are delivered in the community by providers with the necessary and appropriate experience to address clients’ needs.
