Congratulations Nevena, Christina, and the entire NCCO team! This nomination feels especially wonderful to see.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing and working alongside Nevena and Christina since we were starting in the ABI community more than a decade ago. Watching you both build NCCO from the ground up and grow it into the team it is today has been so special.

What really shines through when working with NCCO is how grounded and real-world your approach is. Whether we’re collaborating at a client meeting or working through the day-to-day realities of a complex case, you bring a down-to-earth, thoughtful perspective that keeps the focus on what will actually make a difference in someone’s life.

It’s also been wonderful to watch you build a team of OTs who carry those same values forward — thoughtful, collaborative, practical, and committed to doing really good work. I always appreciate that you both always make time to have a listening ear or to connect, whether it’s with your team or other colleagues. Your team’s approach to mentorship is something that I bring to my own practice.
