Knorr & Associates Inc. is an Ontario-wide rehabilitation and disability management company supporting individuals and families affected by acquired and traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other complex neurological and catastrophic injuries.

Led by Lisa Bauer, Registered Nurse and Nurse Rehabilitation Consultant, Knorr & Associates brings together occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, kinesiologists and athletic therapists, occupational therapist assistants and physiotherapist assistants, rehabilitation support workers, and an exceptional administrative team.

Knorr maintains exceptionally high standards through thorough assessment, detailed documentation, strong advocacy, responsive communication, and coordinated, practical rehabilitation planning. The team works closely with clients, families, hospitals, physicians, legal representatives, insurers, schools, employers, and community providers to identify barriers, secure needed supports, and promote safety, independence, meaningful participation, and quality of life. Their work is distinguished by persistence, accountability, and a willingness to go beyond basic service expectations when clients and families require support.

Lisa was nominated for OBIA Case Manager of the Year for six consecutive years from the award’s inception and ultimately received the award.  Knorr is Lisa’s maiden name, chosen as a tribute to her father and family. Although he has since passed away, this nomination makes that legacy especially meaningful.
