Hamilton Brain Injury Association (HBIA)

Hamilton Brain Injury Association (HBIA)

Nominated For: COMMUNITY BRAIN INJURY ASSOCIATION OF THE YEAR

At the Hamilton Brain Injury Association, our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals affected by acquired brain injury in Hamilton through education, support, and advocacy. We have recently introduced Monday Activity Day, a unique initiative aimed at promoting socialization, skill-building, and community connection among our program participants. This inclusive gathering features a range of activities, including mindfulness workshops, creative projects, community outings, and themed events, which foster a sense of belonging and support among our members. We are grateful for the partnership with our community sponsors, whose contributions enable us to continue this valuable initiative and provide a welcoming environment for those affected by brain injury and their families.
