Carrington Ryan is a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. By developing thorough assessments and individual care plans Carrington has the experience necessary to work with individuals and families facing complex injuries, acquired brain injuries, pain disorders and mental health challenges.

Carrington began her career working with individuals with developmental disabilities working within their homes and community settings. Carrington also worked with assisting individuals with varying disabilities obtain and retain employment and independence.

For the past 5 years, Carrington has been providing Case Management Services with Abilities Rehabilitation Services, supporting clients and their families across Northern Ontario. Including under serviced communities. She believes in working within an interdisciplinary team to provide optimal services for clients and their families. Carrington believes in a client centered approach. Carrington is able able to build rapport with clients and assist them in obtaining the services that suit their needs throughout their journey. Carrington believes that healing is a collaborative endeavour that requires a holistic approach.

    Congrats on the nomination for case manager of the year! Though our paths don’t cross often clinically (geography is a funny thing!), it’s been a joy to get to know you at conferences and events.
