Nominated For: COMMUNITY BRAIN INJURY ASSOCIATION OF THE YEAR

BIAD was founded by family members seeking participation and independence for their loved one. The association strives to maximize independence for its participants while supporting them in making the community as accessible as possible. In doing so BIAD acknowledges the challenges and attempts to develop solutions to the issues. They have a specific focus on the impact poverty has on its participants strive to eliminate the correlation between brain injury and poverty.
