2026 CASE MANAGER OF THE YEAR NOMINEE

Annemarie McDonough

Annemarie McDonough

Nominated For: CASE MANAGER OF THE YEAR

Annemarie is deeply honoured to be nominated for the PIA Law and OBIA Case Manager of the Year Award of Excellence.

As a registered occupational therapist with over thirty years of experience both assessing and treating clients with acquired brain injuries, she approaches case management with a strong emphasis on daily living skills, community reintegration, and overall health and quality of life. She is a compassionate advocate and recognizes just how profoundly brain injury affects not only the client, but the lives of their loved ones as well.

Her clinical experience allows her to evaluate complex needs, problem solve tough situations, and come up with creative solutions for equipment, skilled and unskilled services, and especially housing. She always aims to go above and beyond while working as a member of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.

Annemarie is a member in good standing with COTO, CAOT and CSME. She is an ADP Authorizer for mobility devices, successfully attained the C-CAT Functional Observer certification, and takes every opportunity to work with students and faculty in the School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University.

When she is not working, you can find her on the golf course trying to improve her game.
