First and foremost, we would like to thank you for this nomination! All of us here at DMARehability are honoured to be recognized in the category of Rehabilitation Company of the year!

At DMA our commitment is not only to our clients but also to our very dedicated team of clinicians. We recognize that to stay current with new and innovative medical and rehabilitation interventions, professional development and ongoing learning is essential to providing the best treatment for our clients. Our team has dedicated professional development funds to not only grow their own skill set, but to pass on these skills and knowledge to their clients and their coworkers through mentoring and training. Supporting our staff and making them feel part of a team in a community based job has always been a priority for us and we are very fortunate to have many staff members that have been with us 10, 15 and 20 plus years!

The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.

At DMARehability, our multidisciplinary team includes clinicians with extensive knowledge and experience working with both adult and paediatric clients. Our diverse team of therapists have varied specializations in brain injury, allowing us to choose a specific therapist to meet the specific needs of injuries an individual has sustained. Our team supports the needs of Individuals, families and caregivers, who have sustained an injury as a result of a motor vehicle collision, slip and fall and or serious illness.

DMARehability is a Community based Medical and Vocational Rehabilitation Company that has been providing professional services for more than 30 years, throughout the province of Ontario.

When we started DMARehability, we were primarily an occupational therapy and case management company. It did not take us long to recognize the many positive factors of building upon our clinical offerings, for both our clients and our staff. Over the past 30 years we have grown our service capabilities to include; Occupational Therapists, Physicians, Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Speech Language Pathologists, Nurse Case Managers, Vocational Evaluators, Social Workers, Rehabilitation Therapists and, Behavioural Therapists.

As a result we have also come together as a team to develop mutli disciplinary programming and service offerings with our latest addition of our Catastrophic Assessment division – MultiMed Assessments. This has allowed us to assist those individuals who should be designated CAT, ultimately gaining access to the services they require.

DMARehability’s commitment is to work with each person to ensure that all aspects of the individual’s rehabilitation care needs, current and future, are met, ultimately assisting the individual to achieve their post injury goals.
