Ms. Lisa Bauer, RN is grateful to have been nominated by the Ontario Brain Injury Association for Case Manager of the Year and for an Award of Excellence in Brain Injury Rehabilitation for 6 consecutive years in a row!
Lisa Bauer has been an outstanding leader in her field specializing in catastrophic, complex medical and rehabilitation case management for clients with Acquired Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury helping them to reach their maximum potential in their rehabilitation programs and continue to live full and successful lives. Her compassion for her clients and their families is distinctive. Through Lisa’s extensive work with adults and children who have sustained an ABI and/or SCI, she is recognized as an experienced and highly respected case manager. Lisa is a strong advocate for her clients and provides superior services. Her work has positively impacted countless individuals who live with ABI and/or SCI. As a result, Lisa’s services are repeatedly requested by first-rate firms such as PIA Law, as well as senior claim adjusters.
Lisa Bauer has an exceptional reputation as the owner and director of Knorr & Associates Inc. established in 1997. She has been licensed as a registered nurse case manager for over 20 years assisting and supporting clients not only in Toronto but all of Southern Ontario. She has continually furthered her education by attending all of the Brock University/OBIA’s ABI rehabilitation certificate courses. She has dedicated herself to taking courses and attending conferences related to both ABI and spinal cord injuries and continues to bring her compassion and commitment to all her clients. She has also taken additional certificate courses at both Mohawk and Seneca College. Ms. Bauer has been privileged to be a guest speaker for her peers. Lisa Bauer is a Member of the Canadian Association of Rehabilitation Professionals and licensed with the College of Nurses of Ontario; a member of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada; a member of the Brain Injury Association of Durham Region; and a member of the Honorable Order of The Blue Goose International.
Lisa Bauer has had the advantage of working with the excellent rehabilitation teams not only in the community but also at TRI, Lyndhurst, Sunnybrook, St. Michael’s Hospital, Grandview, Bloorview MacMillan Children’s Hospital, Chedoke, St. John’s Rehabilitation Hospital, Sick Kid’s and several other trauma facilities. She has worked closely assisting PIA Law and other reputable law firms to ensure their clients achieve their maximum potential while maintaining efficient, professional work relationships with top insurers.
